New Blog!

Well here is my first attempt at starting my own blog. I am looking for a little summer project to start on and I figured blogging would be fun!! I want this blog to be about my little DIY projects I do in my spare time. As of now I do not have step by step pictures of any of my DIY projects I have already done but tomorrow I plan on starting a new one so we will see.
So.... here we go!

P.S. In the mean time here is an adorable picture of my sweet puppy Marley...

  1. Great blog and very clear instructions. Will definitely give this a go. I have a suggestion and a question, though! The suggestion - if you run the jars/bottles through the dishwasher the labels just fall right off. Or leave them to soak in a basin of warmy soapy water for a couple of hours. The question is are the jars washable after they've been baked or will the paint/stain come off in water? Thanks Vonnie

  4. Thank you so much. I am always looking for something to do with glass jars and vases! one question. After everything is baked cooled etc. and ready to use... can I put water in them and use as a vase? will it damage the paint? Also if I use them as votive holders will the candle flame bubble peel or burn the paint?
for the person that said put jars in dishwasher to peel label, worst thing to do for your dishwasher! It will clog it and eventually your motor will go out and the pump will stop working! Happened to me twice thanks to kids.
